Irene L. Watson

Irene L. Watson, 89, longtime Moses Lake resident and wife of the late Thomas G. Watson, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Lakeview Home Care in Moses Lake.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Pioneer Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Rice of the Moses Lake United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake. Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until noon.

Irene was born June 16, 1918, in Rapid City, Manitoba, Canada to the late Roy and Ruth (Wilkenson) Cottingham.

She is survived by a daughter Judy of Milford, Mass.; a son Dale of Moses Lake; a sister, Helen Fowell of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; five grandchildren; dear friends Joann Hochstatter and Mike Meinche of Moses Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
