Alice Goehri

Alice Goehri, 96, passed away peacefully to be with The Lord on July 6, 2007, at Sunbridge Care Center in Moses Lake.

Alice was born Sept. 15, 1910, in Colorado where she grew up and married. Alice and her husband Lloyd came to the Moses Lake area to farm when the bureau water first became available. They broke out the sagebrush land and used rill irrigation, spending many long hot days taming the land.

Alice is survived by her daughters Lois (Larry) Price of Ephrata, and Peggy (Gene) Oliver of Tucson, her daughter-in-law Betty (Jack) Goehri of Yakima and by seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Loyd and her son Jack.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under Nicoles Funeral Home in Ephrata.
