RoseMarie "Billie" Biggs
RoseMarie "Billie" Biggs was bom May 9, 1929, in Bremerton, Wash., to James and Grace Phillips. She passed away on June 27, 2007, at Providence Everett Medical Center in Everett, at the age of 78.
She moved to Ruff with her late husband James Biggs and took over operation of the Ruff Store from her mother, Grace Gant. They later moved to Marlin and purchased and ran the Marlin Tavern. After her husband James passed away, she purchased the Hartline Recreation Cafe. Later in life she worked at several mini marts in Moses Lake.
Billie lived a long and happy life. She was a friend to everyone she met. If anyone needed help, Billie was always right there to lend a helping hand. It was impossible for Billie to pass up a yard sale, even if on vacation. She was always on the lookout for a treasure for herself, one of her kids or a friend. She enjoyed passing the time away, sitting outside soaking up the sun. She always loved doing yard work and taking care of her house plants.
She is survived by six children: Della Molsee (Ed) of Lake Stevens, Lynne lszler of Shoreline, Terry Bellamy (Bill Cooper) of Everett, Mike lszler of Everett, Scott lszler (Kory) of Shoreline, and Kellie McGwin of Moses Lake. Billie is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren: Sandie McDaniel of Lake Stevens, Travis Riggle (Kerri) of Arlington, Coriann Ulrich of Moses Lake, Chase and Mackenzee lszler of Everett, Trevor Woodworth of Moses Lake, and Nicholas and Sean Lathrop of Lake Stevens. She was preceded in death by her father James Phillips, her mother Grace Gant, her son Mitchell lszler, and grandson Corey Riggle.
