MOSES LAKE - Donations totaling $4,900 poured into Tomlinson Black so far during an ongoing fund-raiser to benefit Moses Lake resident Larry Brice.

Realtor JoAnne Selmann plans to get her long hair shaved off if the community raises $20,000. The effort is part of an outpouring of support for Brice and his family.

Brice, 51, is a chaplain at the Moses Lake Police Department and Associate Pastor at Grace Harvest Church in Moses Lake. He is battling stage four cancer.

The real estate agency is continuing to accept donations.

"I know our goal was $20,000, but anything would be appreciated," said Tomlinson Black co-owner Mark Fancher.

Fancher said Thursday the company hopes to raise $5,000. Brice's family receives the donations as they come in.

Tomlinson Black Realtor Dave Dinges already shaved his hair for donations to Brice at the company's holiday party. Employees raised about $2,100 to see Dinges' hair shaved off, and it was raised in five minutes.

Selmann said she remains eager for her turn under the razor.

"I'm very excited and I want people to get it up there so that I can do it," Selmann said.

Checks can be dropped off at 1000 S. Pioneer in Moses Lake, made payable to Grace Harvest Church.
