Moses Lake swimmers undefeated

MOSES LAKE — The Chiefs hosted Davis in a head-to-head swim meet Saturday and came out ahead, defeating the Pirates 137-26.

The win helped Moses Lake maintain their perfect season in the pool and gave them a boost to prepare for their final league swim meet. The Chiefs will host Wenatchee at 4 p.m. Thursday. The Panthers are the only other undefeated team in the league and the winner of Thursday's meet will take the league championship.

Three teams came away with first place finishes for Moses Lake — the 200 medley relay team, 200 freestyle relay team and the 400 freestyle relay team.

Individuals earning first place finishes included: 200 freestyle - Nick Kardong; 200 individual medley - Cameron Goodrich; 50 freestyle - Brad Reeder; 100 butterfly - Reuben Huddleston; 100 freestyle - Marc Bales; 500 freestyle - Brad Reeder; 100 backstroke - Dylan Grigg; 100 breaststroke - Austin Massart.

Second place finishes included: 200 freestyle - Reuben Huddleston; 200 individual medley - Kyle Hickman; 50 freestyle - Austin Masart; Diving - Chad Borg; 100 butterfly - Dylan Grigg; 100 freestyle - Kyle Reeder; 500 freestyle - Nick Kardong; 100 backstroke - Marc Bales; 100 breaststroke - Kyle Hickman.

Third place finishes included: 50 freestyle - Chris Jackson; Diving - Carl Borg; 100 freestyle - George Olson; 500 freestyle - Kyle Reeder; 100 backstroke - Trevin Byington.

Fourth place finishes included: Diving - Jay Bowser; 100 butterfly - Cameron Goodrich.
