Ivel Lee Blasdel

Ivel Lee Blasdel passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 in her Moses Lake home.

She was born July 26, 1936, in Weed, N.M. She has been a Moses Lake resident since 1968 and along with her husband Don have owned and operated Don's Upholstery together for 42 years.

Ivel Lee was well-known for her kindness and had a special place in her heart for everyone. Ivel Lee was always lending a helping hand and was known as the person you could always count on. She was always working on craft projects and enjoyed making and collecting dolls. Her favorite pastimes were tea parties and picnics with her children and grandchildren.

Ivel Lee was survived by her husband Donald Blasdel, brother John Ehart, sister Anna Belle Moore, sons David and Dennis Blasdel, two grandchildren, and many others she considered as children and grandchildren.

A memorial to celebrate her life was held on Friday, Jan. 12, at 4 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist's church located at at 1601 West Valley Road in Moses Lake.
