Get a passport in Ephrata

EPHRATA — There is one more place to obtain a passport.

People can apply for passports at the Grant County Clerk's Office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office is closed noon to 1 p.m.

Applicants are asked to arrive by 4 p.m. to allow enough time to process the application. Applicants are advised to apply Monday through Thursday to avoid delays.

Applicants must plan ahead.

It typically takes six to eight weeks to receive a passport after the application process.

The clerk's office is located on 35 C Street N.W. in the Law and Justice Building in Ephrata.
