Edythe (Wiens) Karber

Edythe (Wiens) Karber, 83, homemaker, passed away Dec. 18, 2006. The Karbers lived in Warden from 1956 to 1988. They were charter members of the Warden Mennonite Church. Edythe worked on the Election Boards for many years. She was also involved in 4-H and bible school.

A memorial service will be held in Bellingham at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 12, 2007. A graveside service is held at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 13, 2007 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden. A light lunch is held after the service at the Warden Mennonite Church.

Edythe is survived by two daughters, Jacque and her husband, Scott Culmertson, Omak, Wash., Jana and her husband, Gene Hildebrandt, Wichita, Kan., and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Karber and their son Michael.
