Tom Gould

Tom Gould, 57, of Warden passed away Dec. 29, 2006, at his home.

Tom was born May 8, 1949, to Leona and Jay Gould in Whitefish, Mont. The family moved to Warden in 1959. Tom attended Warden Elementary and High School, graduating in 1968.

Tom married Linda Hall in February of 1969. They lived in California and Montana for a short time before moving to Warden. Together they had two children, Tommy and Lynnette.

He worked for the Warden School district for 29 years as a custodian retiring in 2004.

Tom enjoyed doing crafts, drawing, working on cars. He enjoyed classic cars and watching NASCAR. He painted shirts or sweatshirts for gifts. Tom also helped get the Summer Magic Car show in Warden, which is small but fun.

Tom is survived by his wife Linda, daughter-in-law April, two grandchildren Jay and Shelley; brother-in-law Ken Morrison, sisters: Germaine Bennette, Kalispell, Mont; brothers-in-law, Marvin (Bettie) Hall, Wilmington, Ohio; Lynn (Terry) Hall Celina, Ohio; sisters-in-law Rosalie (Patrick) Fagan, Bremerton, Wash. and Dixie (Tracy) Jordon, Wilbur, Wash. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and several young people that called him "Dad" also survive him.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, sister Darlene Morrison, son Tommy and daughter Lynnette.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 808 Sharon, Ave., Moses Lake.

Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello.
