Terry J. Voth

Terry J. Voth, 51, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away at her home on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, in Moses Lake. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007 at 2 p.m at the First Presbyterian Church in Moses Lake. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

Terry was born Feb.15, 1955 in Pocatello, Idaho to Betty Burge and Clifford Voth.

Terry moved to Moses Lake in 1967 and graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1973, she married Wade Goicoechea in 1974, they divorced in 2002. She worked for Westway Construction in Spokane, while continuing to live in Moses Lake, and was involved in the Northwest Women in Construction organization. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Terry never met a stranger. She was always ready to step forward to meet new people, when she knew you, Terry cared about you. During her battle with cancer she spent so much of her time caring for, and communicating with so many friends, wanting to make sure they were doing well, despite her own ailing health. Her courage, strength and faith through her illness was a model for all who were fortunate enough to share their lives with her.

She is survived by her two sons Josh and Shawn Goicoechea of Moses Lake; mother Betty Burge of Nampa, Idaho; brother Todd, his wife Patty and their daughters Kody, Tiffany, and Candace of Moses Lake; her brother Jay and his son Christopher of Kuna, Idaho. She is preceeded in death by her father Clifford Voth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Terry's name to the College Scholarship Fund at the First Presbyterian Church, 1142 W. Ivy St., Moses Lake, WA 98837.
