The envelope must be marked "Sealed Bid" and give the lease number, expiration date of lease applied for, and give the applicant's name. The applicant must be prepared to purchase any improvements that belong to the current lessee. Notice is hereby given that the Grant County Planning Department has received and found the following shoreline permit application to be technically complete as of Feb. 15, 2007 and ready for processing, public review and comment.
Grant County has received a Shoreline Substantial Development/Conditional Use Permit application and SEPA Environmental Checklist from Brian Jacobsen, Moses Lake, for the removal of 16 feet of 24 feet of the existing dock which is too narrow for his use and replace it with a 8' x 20' free standing dock and an 9' x 10' boat lift for an overall length of 28 feet within the Suburban Shoreline Designation of the Grant County Shorelines Master Plan. The site address of the subject parcel is 4527 County Road 6.5 N.E., Moses Lake, WA 98837 and is located in a portion of Section 35, Township 20 N., Range 27E., WM, Grant County, WA. Paxson Platt Water Association will discontinue operations and water delivery no later than February 6, 2008. There will be no service available after that date. Todd Whipple submitted an application for a Site Plan Review on February 14, 2007. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on February 20, 2007. The proposal is to construct a 7,400 square foot commercial building intended to be an Autozone Store. The existing building will be demolished and the site redeveloped with parking and landscaping. A category III wetland has been delineated on the site. A 25' buffer is required. The site is located at 632 S. Pioneer Way in the C-2, General Commercial Zone, and is .66 acres. The project will require environmental review. The project has been determined to be Consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following Development Regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code Title 18 Zoning, Title 14 Environmental Regulations, Title 16 Buildings and Construction, Title 19 Growth Management, and Title 20 Development Review Process.

Smart Homes, Inc. submitted a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit Application on February 6, 2007. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on February 20, 2007. The proposal is to install two separate docks that will include a total of 16 slips and boat lifts as well as develop a trail to connect the upland neighborhoods with the docks. The trail will utilize the existing foot path except in the area where the path crosses a wetland. In this area a elevated cross walk will be constructed to cross the wetland area. A viewing platform, with seating, is also proposed along the trail. A Category III wetland has been delineated on the site. The site is located in the R-1, Single Family Zone. The site is located on the north side and adjacent to the Montlake Park. The project has been determined to be Consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following Development Regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code Title 18 Zoning, Title 14 Environmental Regulations, Title 19 Growth Management, Title 20 Development Review Process, and the Shoreline Management Master Plan.
