Grant County Public Works is seeking interested Civil Engineering or structural Engineering Design firms for:

? Assisting in the designs of Bridge #118 on Road F-NE, a 144 foot long, concrete, 2-lane, clear-span replacement, and Bridge #244 on Road 3-NE, a 165 foot long, concrete, 2-lane, clear or two-span, cast-in-place deck replacement; and

? Providing on-call services for bridge ratings, evaluations, and inspection assistance to the County Road Engineer and Bridge Crew.

A one sheet general scope of design services required is available on request. Interested Firms should submit a brief Statement of Qualifications, no more than 10 pages. Firms will be evaluated on the following criteria:

? Office in Washington State

? Experience with Local agencies in proposed work

? Proven ability to stay within Budget

? Available staff and expertise

? Experience in Grant County

Notice of Application and SEPA Determination

Notice is hereby given that a Site Plan Review and SEPA Checklist were received on January 23, 2007 from Mark Walker/AAA Ready Mix/, P.O. Box 1044, Moses Lake, WA 98837, (509) 765-1923; and were found to be technically complete and preliminarily appear to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of February 5, 2007. PROJECT: Site Plan Review & SEPA Environmental review for the temporary portable concrete batch plant within an enclosed structure on a 4.73-acre parcel in the Urban Heavy Industrial zone. The duration of the project is approximately two months. About one (1) acre of natural vegetation will be removed as part of this project. After the project is completed, the site will be leveled for future use. SEPA MDNS was issued on February 5, 2007 listing seven (7) mitigation measures. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Building Permit. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject proposal is located in Section 27 Township 20 N Range 28 E, WM. Grant County WA Assessor's Parcel #17-1016-003. Copies of the application materials (File #07-4699) are available from Igor Shaporda at the Grant County Planning Department at 32 C St. NW, Room 26a, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011, ext. 624; office hours are 8am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm February 23, 2007 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the SEPA Determination.

Any bidder offering new equipment shall include in their proposal an offer to purchase the trade-in equipment, if present. The County assumes the new equipment bidder's trade-in offer is a part of the bid including the new equipment. The bidder's trade-in offer will only be considered separate if the bidder grants permission to the County to consider their trade-in offer separately.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject or accept any or all portions of the bids received.
