| February 7, 2007 8:00 PM

Marion Densmore Fairbanks passed away on Feb. 2, 2007, to be with her beloved husband, Dick Fairbanks. Marion died at home surrounded by her family and two wonderful caregivers Teresa Lamere and Mary Collins. Mom was born Marion Densmore Ringoen on June 14, 1912, in New Salem N.D. Marion graduated from New Salem High School as valedictorian. Surviving her are her children Donald Fairbanks of Lynnwood, Wash., Bill Fairbanks (Mary Jane) of Moses Lake, David Fairbanks (Cheryl) of Wenatchee and Sue Rhoads (Randy) of Richland. Marion has eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. She read extensively until the loss of her sight about 10 years ago and was unbeatable at Scrabble even after she went blind. She was a member of the first Presbyterian Church of Moses Lake. As the heart of our family she lovingly led us through the good times and the bad and will continue to lead us by example until we are able to be together again.
