Mary Elizabeth Pryor

Mary Elizabeth Pryor passed away Jan. 29, 2007, at Wenatchee Central Washington Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents June and Arthur Gard. Mary was born Nov. 6, 1940, in Petaluma, Calif. She married Weldon Clover in November 1959. They had three girls. The family moved to Moses Lake in 1970. Mary worked for the Washington State Department of Agriculture as a produce inspector for many years. The last of her working years were spent at Takata of Moses Lake as a Q.A. inspector. Mary retired in 2002. Mary enjoyed being involved in the 4-H program for many years supporting her three girls and others in the Mae Valley Area. She was the Mae Ranchers horse 4-H leader from 1975-1980. Later on Mary enjoyed showing horses with her husband Bill Pryor. Mary and Bill were married June 25, 1983. Mary looked forward to her retirement cruise to Alaska. The cruise was enjoyed by Mary and her three girls. After retirement Mary enjoyed her early morning swim with her friend Barb Umberger. They swarm daily at Dabalos health awareness center. Mary also enjoyed traveling with her husband to various family members across the United States. Memorial services for Mary will be at the Grange Hall at the Grant County Fairgrounds. The services are at 2 p.m. and the family invites all of her friends. Mary is survived by her husband Bill Pryor of Moses Lake, brothers Merle Gard of Calistoga, Calif. and Robert Siemer of Long Beach, Calif., daughters Joyce Gross of Quincy, Alma Jewell of Waynesboro, Ga., Elizabeth Yonko of Moses Lake and three grandchildren, Brett Goddard of Petaluna, Calif., Stephanie Yonko of Moses Lake, John William Jewell of Waynesboro, Ga.
