Lee E. 'Papa' Penhallurick

| February 2, 2007 8:00 PM

Lee E. Penhallurick passed away on Jan. 29, 2007, to be with his beloved wife Reatha, his daughter Lisa and grandsons Kyle and Zack. His loving family will never feel left behind, as he is, and always will be, with us. Lee's ship's log of his life noted his love of the sea that took him to far away places in the Navy during the second world war. He was always proud to have the honor of being on the USS Missouri to see the signing of the peace treaty that ended World War II. He shared his passion for boats with his family through the years, building boats and vacationing in the San Juan Islands to create lasting memories for all. His active younger years were adventures in mountain climbing on Mount Ranier and Mount St. Helens. Skiing, hiking, camping and fishing were family favorite activities. His oldest daughter Kathy and her husband Dave lived with him and took care of him lovingly and selflessly to the end. Their family grew and were all cherished by Lee. Granddaughter Melissa and husband Thomas brought great joy to him with their daughters Kaylin and Brooklyn. Granddaughter Mya and partner Nick with their daughter Madelyn were also his pride and joy. Granddaughter Megan brought him daily love.

Lee's youngest daughter Cyndi and husband Jan brought the boys into his life with their sons. Grandson Jake and partner Cassie and their new son Riley and Grandson Mitch brought smiles and fun to his love for family. We wish him smooth sailing until we meet again.
