The Warden Conservation District has an upcoming unexpired Elected Supervisor position. A Supervisor must be a qualified elector and landowner or operator of a farm within the Warden Conservation District boundary. Supervisor duties include but are not limited to attending monthly Board Meetings, meetings with local leaders, and producers to discuss Conservation issues, working with office and Commission staff as well as other agricultural entities to reach Conservation goals and other misc. duties. An average time commitment of 3-10 hours per month is expected. A Conservation District Supervisor serves without compensation. Any costs incurred while serving as a Supervisor will be reimbursed by the Conservation District. An ordinance adjusting corporate boundaries of the City of Moses Lake pursuant to RCW 35A.21.210

The Moses Lake City Council adopted an ordinance which includeds in the city limits portions of Road F NE, Kittelson Road, and the north Frontage Road and excludes for the city limits portions of Broad Street, Market Street, Roberts Place, and Stratford Road from the city's limits.

This ordinance, which was passed on October 23, 2007 will be in force five days after publication.

Notice of Application

REC Silicon submitted an application for environmental review on Dec. 20, 2007. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on Dec. 21, 2007. The proposal is to expand the existing REC Silicon plant, including new silane production for approximately 9,000 metric tons/year including hydrogenation, distillation, utilities, and silane storage in the Heavy Industrial Zone at 3322 Road N NE, Farm Unit 63, Block 41, S17-T19N-R29E. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Muncipal Code (MLMC)Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 16: Buildings and Construction, Title 18: Zoning, and Title 20: Development Review Process.

Written comments on this proposal will be accepted unti 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2008. Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or the final decision, on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in MLMC 20.11, Appeals. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Request For Proposals (RFP) for the Fiber Optic Termination Equipment 170-2246, will be received by the Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County at Ephrata, Washington until 5:00 P.M., on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 for the materials as more fully described in the RFP Documents.

NOTICE OF MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Moses Lake issued Mitigated Determinations of Non-Significance (MDNSs) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following projects:

1. Crossroads Phase 2 - Subdivide 17 acres into 63 single family residential lots. The proponent is Hayden Homes, Redmond, OR. The site is located north of Lakeland Drive and east of SR-17.

2. Campbell #2 - Subdivide 40 acres into 3

commercial lots. The proponents are Dean and Monique Campbell. The site is located west of Clover Drive, north of Yonezawa Boulevard, and south of Pioneer Way.

3. Tatum dock - Construct a 4' x 40' walkway out to an 8' x 25' boat dock adjacent to 1037 Laguna Drive The proponents are Bob & Carrie Tatum, Moses Lake.

4. Nilsen dock - Install an 8' x 25' cantilevered boat dock adjacent to 198 Crestview Drive The proponent is Christopher Nilsen, Moses Lake.

After review of the completed environmental checklists and other information on file with the City of Moses Lake, the SEPA Responsible Official has determined that the proposals will not have a probable adverse impact on the environment if the stipulated mitigation is provided. Pursuant to WAC 197-11-340(2) the lead agency will not act on these proposals for 14 days from the date of determination. Comments on the MDNSs must be submitted by Jan. 9, 2008 to the Responsible Official.
