Sheriff's office has suspects

MOSES LAKE - A newly constructed house frame fire that burned early Thursday morning on Valley Road near Cascade Park was possibly set on purpose.

The Grant County Fire Marshal's Office and Grant County Sheriff's Office are considering the fire arson because there's been significant information gathered on possible suspects involved with starting the blaze, the sheriff's office stated Friday.

Officials have obtained solid leads, evidence and a motive in the case, said Grant County Chief Deputy John Turley.

He declined to release more information because of the ongoing investigation.

Damage to the frame is estimated at $20,000.
