Allan Paul Morice

Allan Paul Morice, 21, a lifelong Moses Lake resident, was at his earthly home when he went to be with Jesus in his heavenly home Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007. Allan was born Oct. 13, 1986. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 2005.

He began working at Safeway during their Grand Opening in the fall of 2005 and was still employed there at the time of his death. He received the Safeway Service Excellence Certificate in recognition of World Class Service.

Allan attended the Church of the Nazarene as his work schedule allowed.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Allan was a great help to his dad with the hunter education classes. He also loved helping his grandpa-dad with the garden and animals, especially the chickens. A yearly highlight was entering his pumpkins and other vegetables in the Grant County Fair.

He is survived by his parents, Mat and Martha Morice, his two brothers, Andy and Aaron, his grandparents, Ray and Laverna Woodruff, and grandmother, Avis Morice, as well as four aunts, three uncles and seven cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Mathew A. Morice.

His quiet and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by those who loved him, especially his younger cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec.18, 2007, at the Moses Lake First Church of the Nazarene, 422 S. Balsam, with Pastor Floyd Wilks officiating. Interment will follow in Pioneer Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory. Viewing will take place at Kayser's Chapel of Memories on Monday, Dec. 17 from noon until 7 p.m.
