Vonda 'Lee' Burton

A much loved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grammie passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at her home in Veradale, Wash., with her loving family at her side.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Lyle, at the home; their two daughters Wendi Burton (and spouse Jim) Bernard of Seattle and Penny Burton (and spouse Adam) Hencz of Spokane; grandchildren Ethan Burton and Aidan Robert Bernard of Seattle and Elliot Ann and Sheldon Robert Hencz of Spokane; sister Debbie Dart of Cashmere, Wash.; brothers Ron Sanders of Cashmere, Wash., and Larry Sanders of Yakima, Wash.; also by her mother, Ruth Sanders of Cashmere, Wash.; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Her father, William Sanders, precedes her in death. Celebration of Life Memorial Service, Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division, Spokane, Wash., 99207, with Pastor Tony Dart officiating.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Spokane for their wonderful care and assistance. Donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane, 121 S. Arthur St., Spokane, WA 99202 in Lee's name. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends but remembered with smiles always.
