Odessa paintball hosts free scrimmage Saturday

Tri-Cities, Spokane teams play before January tournament

ODESSA - Saturday is a good day to watch professional paintball players at work.

Teams from the Tri-Cities and Spokane participate in a scrimmage game Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lincoln Paintball, located at 798 W. Schoessler Road in Odessa.

The two five-member teams have a tournament in January, Lincoln Paintball owner Mark Vlk explained.

He plans to offer some "major" tournaments at his business, he added.

Admission is free.

Vlk said he was not anticipating a large turnout at the event, perhaps 10 to 20 people.
