Brian Eugene Byrd

Brian Eugene Byrd died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, in a motorcycle accident in the Boise foothills at the age of 42.

There will be a viewing for Brian on Thursday, Aug. 30 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Summers Funeral Home, 1205 W. Bannock Street, Boise, Idaho. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. at the Christian Faith Center, 31 S. Midland Blvd., Nampa, Idaho.

Arrangements are under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel.

Brian was born in Brewster, on May 27, 1965. He grew up in Moses Lake, where he learned to love the outdoors and developed his lifetime passion for dirt bikes. He earned an associates degree in Engineering at ITT, Boise, Idaho, and was employed by Micron Technology since March of 1986.

He married Lisa Echeverria of Winnemucca, Nevada on Aug. 8, 1987, in Boise, Idaho. Together they have two beautiful, athletic girls who will miss him greatly. Brian left this world doing exactly what he loved, dirt bike racing. He lived life to the fullest every day of his short life. Everyone must die, but not everyone knows how to live like Brian did.

Brian is survived by his wife of twenty years, Lisa Byrd and his two daughters, Breanna, 16, and Danielle, 14, of Boise, Idaho; his parents, Leon and Carol Byrd of Ephrata; his sister, Amanda Chapel of Spring Dale; and numerous loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and June Galbraith of Brewster, and Richard and Ruth Byrd of Chelan; and several aunts and an uncle.
