Notice of Application and Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit was received on March 8, 2007 from iStar Blues LLC (Designated Contact: Bill Parsons, 40 Lake Bellevue, Suite 340, Bellevue, WA 98005, 425-990-0222); and was found to be technically complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of April 19, 2007. PROJECT: An amendment to an existing Conditional Use Permit to allow for the expansion of the Premier Camping area to 350 sites, the addition of a concession stand for the sale of pre-pared foods, the placement of two mobile trailer-restrooms, the placement of solid waste handling storage area, the expansion of an existing convenience store, the construction of an additional 40' x 40' shower/personal hygiene structure. SEPA: MDNS issued April 19, 2007. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: None. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject proposal "The Gorge Campground" is located at the intersection of Road "W" and Road "1" NW, approximately seven (7) miles northwest of the Town of George; and is a portion of Sections 29 and 30; Township 19 North; Range 23 East; Willamette Meridian, Grant County Washington.
