A loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.

She passed peacefully after a struggle with a long illness.

Born in Sciotoville, Ohio, she moved to Antioch, Calif., with her family when she was in her teens. There she met Lloyd Ginochio, her husband of 38 years and raised their family. In 1974, they moved to their farm in Gerlach, Nev., and lived there until 1980. In 1981 they moved again to their farm in Royal City, where she has resided since.

She has made many friends over the years through her kindness, generosity and great sense of humor. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, loved a good time, was loved by many and will be missed.

Doris is survived by her children Victor Ginochio of Stockton, Calif., Valeria Sanchez of Antioch, Calif., and Al Ginochio of Royal City; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Ginochio, a son, Karl Ginochio and a grandson, Mitchell Ginochio.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Chapel. Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Antioch, Calif. The Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.

Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy is assisting the family with local arrangements.
