Eleven teams play in league

MOSES LAKE — The Babe Ruth Baseball League has announced players and teams for the 2007 baseball season for all leagues.

Practices have already started for the Prep League, comprised of 13-year-olds, and the Major League will begin shortly, league President Phil Signorelli said.

Eleven teams from Moses Lake play in the league this year. Warden and Ephrata again participate in the Moses Lake League.

"The coaches are really pumped this year," Player Agent Scott Swartz said. "We expect good competitive play."

Moses Lake also hosts eight tournaments with teams entered from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Canada, competing on three different weekends, the first scheduled for the weekend of May 12-13.

Team rosters are set, and managers and coaches are contacting their players this week.

Those not receiving a call or needing team information are asked to call Signorelli at 509-760-3673.
