NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF GROUNDWATER

TAKE NOTICE:
Mr. Berend Friehe of Moses Lake has made a APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER of Water Right to change the point of withdrawal and place of use for Groundwater certificate G3-01295C to the Board and the board has designated such application GRAN-06-010 for active Board review. The Department of Ecology has assigned its tracking number CG3-01295C to this application.
That Ground Water Certificate G3-01295C with a priority date of Nov 30, 1966 has a current authorization for 800 gallons per minute, 99 acre-feet per year, for seasonal irrigation of 165 acres within the SW1/4 and S1/2 of SW1/4 of NW1/4 of Section 1, T19N, R30E, W.M. Grant County. The point of withdrawal is one well located 264 feet west and 740 feet south of the center Section 1, T19N, R30E, W.M., Grant County.
The proposed change is a new place of use of 165 acres defined as: 130 Acres within the NE1/4 Section 25, and 30 acres within NE1/4 Section 26, and 5 acres within SE1/4 Section 26, all T21N, R30E, W.M. Grant County. The proposed points of withdrawal will be three wells located: Well 1] NE1/4NE1/4 Section 23, Well 2] NE1/4SE1/4 Section 23, well 3] SE1/4NW1/4 Section 26 all T21N, R30E, W.M., Grant County. The will be no change in the amount of water, or purpose of use.
Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the board regarding this application. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the board held to discuss or decide on the application. Additionally, the Water Conservancy Board will consider written comments or information provided within thirty (30) days from the last date of publication of this notice, said written comments or information to be provided to its office located at 3953 Airway Drive, Moses Lake, WA 98837.
Any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections. Protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50.00) recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, Eastern Regional Office, 4601 North Monroe Street, Spokane, WA 99205 within thirty (30) days from April 11, 2007.

The Department of Ecology has assigned its tracking number CG3-*07216C to this application.
That Ground Water Certificate 5585-A with a priority date of June 18, 1964 has a current authorization for 800 gallons per minute, 1075 acre-feet per year, for seasonal irrigation of 317 acres within the S1/2 of Section 1 and the S1/2 of the SW1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 1 all in T19N, R30E, W.M. The point of withdrawal is one well located within the SE1/4NE1/4SW1/4 of Section 1, T19N, R30E, W.M., Grant County.
The proposed change is a new place of use of 317 acres defined as: 130 Acres within the NE1/4 Section 25, and 130 acres within SE1/4 Section 25, and 30 acres within NE1/4 Section 26, and 14 acres within SE1/4 Section 26, and 13 acres within NE1/4 Section 35 all T21N, R30E, W.M., Grant County. The proposed points of withdrawal will be three wells located: Well 1] NE1/4NE1/4 Section 23, Well 2] NE1/4SE1/4 Section 23, well 3] SE1/4NW1/4 Section 26 all T21N, R30E, W.M., Grant County. The Administratrix, Margaret Smith, gives notice of hearing set on April 27, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. at the Grant County Superior Court, Grant County Court House located at "C" and Division Streets, Ephrata, Washington for the Court to hear the Petition for Distribution of the estate, requesting the court to settle the final accounting, distribute the property of the estate to the heirs or persons entitled thereto, and to discharge the Personal Representative. Any persons interested in the estate may appear and file objections to and contest the petition and/or final accounting.
Notice is also given that the final accounting of said estate has been filed with the Clerk of the above referenced court.
