Catherine Pauline Roberts (Dye)

Catherine Roberts went to be with the lord on Thursday, March 29, 2007.

Catherine was born on Aug. 24, 1925, in Mammoth Springs, Ark., to Asa and Dora Dye. She graduated from West Plains High School in 1936 and soon after, met, fell in love and married Clarence Roberts, Jr. They moved their family from West Plains, Mo., to Moses Lake in 1954.

Catherine was a devoted wife, friend, mother and grandmother. She was actively involved in the Red Hat Society and Help Undo Grief Services. She belonged to the Assembly of God Church. Catherine enjoyed weekly gatherings with her close special friends and loved camping, gardening and being in the outdoors. Her children, grandchildren and friends were her life and she stayed busy supporting them in all of their activities.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Roberts and her sister Ruth Shelter. She is survived by her three children, Rhonda Walker and husband Keith of Moses Lake, Randy Roberts and wife Debbie of Snohomish, Wash., and Shelley Sizemore and husband Darrell of Grand Coulee, her loving grandchildren, Justin and Lindsey Walker Holland Tamburello, Taylor and Grayson Sizemore, Chris, Evan and Emily Roberts and her five great-grandchildren, and special friend Cliff Ahearn of Ritzville. Services will be held Wednesday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church.
