Notice of Application and Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that an application for a Minor Rezone was received on July 11, 2006 from the David Sparks (Designated Contact: Knudsen Land Surveying, P.O. Box 505, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509) 754-4376); and was found to be technically complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of September 20, 2006.
PROJECT: A minor zone change of two parcels from Rural General Commercial (RGC) to Urban Commercial - 2 (UC-2) to make the zoning consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation. SEPA: Exempt. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: None. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject area is located north of I-90 and east of the City limits of Moses Lake; and is located in a portion of the NE quarter of S.31, T. 19 N., R. 29 E., W.M., Grant County, WA. (parcels #21-1772-000 & 21-1771-000) ZONING: Rural General Commercial. Required mitigation will be pursuant to the Unified Development Code. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING: Planning Commission hearing, 7 pm, November 1, 2006 in the Commissioners Hearing Room, at the Grant County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA 98823. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 625; office hours are 8am - 12 pm and 1pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm October 13, 2006 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
