Edith E. Bush

Edith E. Bush passed away on Sept. 8, 2006, in Seattle.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1913, in Bell, Mont., to Robert and Amy (Kernaghan) Dunsmore. She was the youngest of eight children. The family moved to Shoshone County in 1922. Edith graduated from Kellogg High School in 193.

In 1934, she married Charles Bush in Wallace. They moved to Kootenai County in 1943. She worked at Liberty National Insurance and Pendar.

Her husband died in 1991 and she lived in Moses Lake until 2004 when she moved to Seattle to live with her daughter, Sally.

Edith enjoyed bowling, golf, fly fishing and huckleberry picking. She also loved sewing and needlework.

She is survived by her son, Bill Bush, and his wife, Ina, of Moses Lake; her daughter, Sally Dammeier, of Seattle; grandchildren, Becky Barker, of Queens, N.Y., Mitch Barker of Vancouver, Wash., and Dirk Bush of Yakima.

She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Bush.

The family suggests memorials be dedicated to The Boys and Girls Aid Society of Oregon, 018 Boundary Ct., Portland, OR 97239-3939. Private services were held.
