IN THE MATTER OF VACATING A RESOLUTION NO. 06-224-CC

PORTION OF A CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD INTENTION TO VACATE AND

RIGHT-OF-WAY NOTICE OF HEARING

WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, considered a certain county road right-of-way useless, and by this resolution entered upon it's minutes, declared its intention to vacate and abandon a certain county road right-of-way described as follows:

Legal Description: A PORTION OF THE RIGHT OF WAY OF ROAD 4 NE, IN SECTIONS 7 AND 18, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 28 EAST, W.M., GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON, MORE FULLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

THAT PORTION OF THE ROAD 4 RIGHT OF WAY DEDICATED ON THE MOSES POINT PHASE 1, BLOCK 5A, FINAL P.U.D. MAP RECOREDED IN BOOK 23 OF PLATS, PAGES 61-64, RECORDS OF GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON, LYING EAST OF THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF EDWARDS DRIVE NE.

See Attached Exhibits A and B

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that consideration should be given to vacating portions of certain County roads and right-of-way and directs the County Road Engineer to prepare a report on said vacation and abandonment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing on the report and other related matters shall be held in the Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington located in the County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington at 2:30 PM, October 3rd, 2006.
