Marilyn E. Alloway
Marilyn E. Alloway, 58, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Memorial services celebrating Marilyn's life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Monsignor Martin O. Skehan officiating. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.
Marilyn was born December 28, 1947 in Colfax, Wash., to the late Jack and Billie Masterson.
She was an amazing woman who touched everyone's heart that she met. She lived with a disease called A.L.S. for more than 20 years with an expected lifespan of five years. She exceeded that time because of her love for life, and her family and friends, whom she loved more than anything.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Amber and Ryan Palmer and Lindsay Alloway of Moses Lake; her son, Jay J. Alloway of Moses Lake; her sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bill Clark of Longview; granddaughters, Meliah Palmer, Jayden Palmer, Paige Alloway and Lexie Alloway; her grandson Micah Palmer; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her best friend, who will also greatly miss her, Bev Duzon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emma and George West.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Thomas Jackson, his nurse Deborah and all of the employees of Samaritan Hospital … "may God bless you all."
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made at Wheatland Bank where a special memorial fund has been set up for the family.
