Adelaida Avalos Garcia

Adelaida Avalos Garcia passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, after a long journey in life.

She was born Nov. 13, 1902 in Los Cabos, Michoacan, Mexico. She came to the United States in 1974 and made Moses Lake her home in 1975.

She had eight children, Timoteo Barajas, Avelina Barajas, Carolina Barajas, Antonio Rubio, Daniel Espinoza, Anselma Mora, Agustina Espinoza and Bernardino Espinoza. She also raised two of her 45 grandchildren, Sandra Farias and Victor Espinoza. She had 109 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Adelaida enjoyed working, fishing and spending time with her family. She always enjoyed having company, especially her family. She will be greatly missed by her five children that were with her until the end, Antonio, Daniel, Anselma, Agustina and Bernardino, and her six grandchildren that were always there for her, Victor Espinoza, Sandra Farias, Maria Dalton, Norma Espinoza, Susana Sandoval, Gabriel Montenegro and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Jose Garcia, her mother Benita Garcia, her sister Reyna Garcia, brother Antonio Garcia and grandson Albert Mora, Jr.
