Evelyn Edith Rolly

Evelyn Edith Rolly, a 50 year resident of Moses Lake, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Our Lady of Fatima Villa Assisted Living in Saratoga, Calif., following a 2 year battle with colon cancer. Evelyn had moved to California to be near her youngest daughter.

Evelyn was born on March 12, 1921 in Ortonville, Minn., where she graduated at the top of her class and was a star basketball player. After retiring, Evelyn enjoyed many hours gardening and fishing with her late husband, Floyd E. Rolly, and was very talented in her favorite hobbies of knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include: Eldest daughter, Kay Tischler of May, Texas; Sue Skeesick-Fontaine of San Jose, Calif., and Michael Brannon of Bothell. Evelyn was blessed with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held at Kayser's Chapel of Memories, 831 So. Pioneer Way in Moses Lake, on Friday, Oct. 27, from 8 a.m. to noon followed by graveside services at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, 14403 Road 2 NE at 2 p.m.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.
