NOTICE OF CLOSING REGISTRATION RECORDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the registration files in all voting precincts for Grant County, will be closed against original registrations and tranfers from midnight, Saturday October 7, 2006, (last day for registration will be governed by the office hours of the Registrar) until after the General Election, State of Washington, on Tuesday, November 7, 2006. PROVIDED that any unregistered qualified elector may register to vote in person at the Auditor's Office and apply for a ballot up to the 15th. day, October 23, 2006, before the election.

The closing of the books and handling of registrations and transfers are being done in accordance with RCW 29A.08.140.
