Donna M. Nunnally

Donna M. Nunnally, 80, a resident of the Washington Odd Fellows Home in Walla Walla, died Nov. 26, 2006, at Walla Walla General Hospital.

There will be no services at her request. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt Cremations & Funeral Services, 1551 Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla, WA 99362.

Donna was born June 8, 1926, in Olympia to Leon E. and Phyllis W. Moy Nunnally. She attended grade school in Beverly and high school in Ellensburg. She raised her family in the Pacific Northwest, but lived all over the United States.

Donna was an avid reader; she loved to watch PBS and enjoyed NPR (National Public Radio). She had a love for animals, especially cats and her special dog Kelsey. She was a member of Friends of the Library and Better Breathers.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Sargent and his wife Pam of Spokane Valley; one granddaughter, Carolyn Ahlgren and her husband, Lance, of Imbler, Ore., three great-grandchildren; three cousins Carolyn Erice of Pilot Rock, Grace Jordan of Weston, and Jean Perkins of Oregon, one niece, Geraldine Hadley and one nephew, Glenn Hadley.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Wood Sr., her second husband, Chester D. Sargent, and her third husband, John Degnan; one sister, Chloe Silvers; one son, Bill Wood Jr., one daughter, Phyllis S. Wilkinson; and two special aunts, Della Cummings and Mabel White, and one cousin, Monica Erice.
