William S. Wilson
William S. Wilson, 87, of Wilson Creek passed away Nov. 19, 2006, at his home in Wilson Creek. He was born Jan. 21, 1919 in Burnsville, N.C. to G.C. and M.B. Wilson.
Wilson served in the Old Army Corp. as a captain. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Wilson Creek. Wilson worked as a salesman for John Deere and received may awards for his service.
Wilson's hobbies included hunting, fishing and traveling.
He married Geneva Smith May, 1997 in Wilson Creek.
He is survived by his wife Geneva Wilson at home; two stepsons Clinton Eugene Smith of Moses Lake, and Claude Zachary Smith of Wenatchee; one sister June and husband J.C. Whitney; one brother Homer McNeil of Wenatchee.
Services will be held Monday, Nov. 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Nicoles Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Cemetery.
