Moses Lake parties

| November 20, 2006 8:00 PM

MOSES LAKE — Downtown Moses Lake came to life Friday night.

The party was in celebration of the reopening of downtown Moses Lake, according to the Moses Lake Business Association.

Downtown is open for shopping and the intersection of Division Street and Third Avenue is open for travel.

Businesses were busy with customers and handing out food. People roasted marshmallows in the streets.

Donna Massey and her 2-year-old son Isaiah roasted marshmallows over a fire.

"I think it's great," Massey said.

She said she likes the new angled parking and the sidewalks.

The Rockin B Cloggers danced in front of a crowd of more than 100 people. The group performed several dance routines. They closed with the award-winning Grand Champion Precision Dance.

The celebration was sponsored by the Moses Lake Business Association.
