Inflations Systems, Inc. has applied for a renewal of their state waste discharge permit in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-220 Washington Administrative Code (WAC), and the Federal Clean Water Act.

Inflation Systems, Inc. manufactures and assembles airbag units for motor vehicles at the Port of Moses Lake. Process wastewater and sludge are captured and stored on-site for pickup and disposal by Emerald Services, Inc. in Seattle, Washington. Sanitary wastewater from the facility is discharged to the City of Moses Lake's Larson facility.

The Department of Ecology is proposing to renew the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent. Interested persons are invited to submit their name, address, and comments regarding this permit to:
