Man arrested after setting fire to vehicle

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake police arrested a man after several witnesses allegedly saw him pour gas into a vehicle at the intersection of Nelson Road and Pioneer Way, and set fire to it Sunday at about 8:22 p.m. The four-door 1990 Chevrolet Corsica had been reported stolen by a woman who had purchased it from the suspect several days beforehand. The suspect fled to the area of Highway 17 and Interstate 90, where he was located.

Jesse J. Oliver, 39, was booked into Grant County Jail on first degree possession of stolen property and second degree arson.
