Kelsey Golden Brown

Kelsey Golden Brown passed away May 12 after a skiing accident in Reno, Nev. Born October 5, 1978 in Provo, Utah, he is the fourth child of Dr. Doyle and Jeanne Brown. He was a graduate of Moses Lake High School, Big Bend Community College and received his bachelors degree in psychology from Boise State University. From 1998 to2000, he served a mission to the Netherlands for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Skiing was his life's passion, and he was happiest at the top of a snow-covered peak. Kelsey's bright smile, quick wit, and infectious laugh brought many wonderful friends into his circle. His zeal for life served as an inspiration to those who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

Kelsey will be fondly remembered by his three sisters and four brothers, his maternal grandmother, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 17, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1849 East Nelson Road in Moses Lake. The family will welcome anyone wishing to pay their respects an hour prior to the service.
