And Adoption of Existing Environmental Document
Notice is hereby given that an application for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and a SEPA Checklist were received on February 16, 2006 from Guardian Fiberglass (Designated Contact: Thomas Goeltz, 2600 Century Square, 1501 Fourth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101, 206-622-3150); and were found to be technically complete as of May 8, 2006. PROJECT: A Comprehensive Plan Amendment, processed under RCW 36.70A.365 as a Major Industrial Development, including a Site Specific Land Use Re-designation of approximately 56-acres from Agricultural Resource to Industrial (Urban) and an Urban Growth Area (UGA) Boundary Change to include the subject area within the City of Moses Lake's UGA. SEPA: Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) and Adoption of Existing Environmental Documentation (AEED) on May 9, 2006. LOCATION: 3937 RD N NE, Moses Lake, also known as Farm Unit 61 Block 41; and is located approximately one mile north of the intersection of Wheeler RD and RD N NE on the east side of RD N NE; and is a portion of the NW1/4 of Section 16, Township 19 N, Range 29 E, WM, Grant County. (Parcel #19-0449-00) OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING: Planning Commission hearing, 7 pm, June 7, 2006 in the Commissioners Hearing Room, at the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. Copies of the application materials (File #06-4423) are available from Hector Torres at the Grant County Planning Department at 32 C St. NW, Room 26a, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 623; office hours are 8am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm May 26, 2006 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
