NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF GROUNDWATER

PERMIT G3-28882P(A)

TAKE NOTICE:

Mr. & Mrs. Nick Tommer of Ephrata has made an APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER of Water Right to change the points of withdrawal and transfer the place of use for Groundwater permit G3-28882P(A) to the Board. The board has designated such application for active Board review assigning it a number of GRAN- 06-001. The Department of Ecology has assigned tracking number CG3-28882P(A) to this application.

That Ground Water Permit G3-28882P(A) with a priority date of October 5, 1990 has current authorization for 100 gallons per minute, 160 acre-feet per year, for stockwater and community domestic supply of 178 homes. The place of use being the SE1/4 of Section 28, and portions of the W1/2 and W1/2E1/2 Section 27, T21N, R24E, W.M. Grant County tax parcel numbers 151225000 and 151225002. The points of withdrawal being two wells: Well A] NE1/4NW1/4 Section 27, Well B] N1/2NW Section 27 both within T21N, R24E, W.M.

The proposed change is to transfer the place of use to the N1/2NW1/4, SW1/4NW1/4, and NW1/4NE1/4 Section 18, T18 N, R23E, W.M. Grant County tax parcel numbers 150433000, 150433001, 150433002, and 150433003. The new points of withdrawal being two wells located within the NW1/4NE1/4 of Section 18, T18N, R23E, W.M. There is no change in the total amount of water authorized or purpose of use.

Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the board regarding this application. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the board held to discuss or decide on the application. Additionally, the Water Conservancy Board will consider written comments or information provided within thirty (30) days from the last date of publication of this notice, said written comments or information to be provided to its office located at 3953 Airway Drive N.E., Moses Lake, WA 98837.

Any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections. Protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50.00) recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, Eastern Regional Office, 4601 North Monroe Street, Spokane, WA 99205within thirty (30) days from May 4, 2006.
