John D. Yates

John D. Yates of Tumwater, died at his home on Wednesday with his family by his side.

He was born Augest 18, 1963 in Vandenburg A.F.B. in California to Glendell E. and Cheryl H. Yates. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1981. John married Becky Krumm on Oct. 26, 1991.

John was a field consultant for 7-11. He enjoyed collecting trains and owls.

He is survived by his wife Becky, daughter Amanda of Moses Lake, mother Cheryl Haug of Moses Lake, grandmother Martha St. Jermain of Great Falls Mont.; brothers Randy Yates and Raymond Haug and wife Brandi; sisters Janet Edwards and her husband Gilbert, June Strawn and her husband Jeff and Martha Haug all of Moses Lake; nieces and nephews Jennifer and husband Efrain, Melissa and Husband Tom, Christopher, Pokey, Jaimie, Derrek, Brittanie, Carissa and husband Derrek, Erica and husband Matt, Jessica, Traci, Rainah and Brandan, great nieces and nephews Anthony, Izabella, Alex, Aneissa, Tommy, Michael, Taylor all of Moses Lake, Howley of Mill Creek stepbrother and stepsister, Lenny, Bill, Alan, Nita and Alvin.

He was preceded in death by his father Glendell Yates, grandparents Guy and Nancy Yates, grandfather John St. Jermain and stepfather Arne Haug.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 1 at Capital Vision Christian Church, 1775 Yew Ave. NE, Olympia 98506, (360) 754-7700.

A second memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 2 at the Moses Lake Eagles Lodge.
