Tyler Ray Pope

Tyler Ray Pope, 18, lifelong Moses Lake resident, passed away Friday, March 24. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories with Pastor Floyd Wilks officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday until 7 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

Tyler was born July 31, 1987 in Moses Lake to parents Steven Pope and Connie (Sims) Pope. He attended Midway Elementary, Longview Elementary, Knolls Vista Elementary, Midway Alternative and the Alternative High School in Moses Lake. Tyler loved to roller blade, go knee boarding, go out to the sand dunes, music and dancing, especially "break dancing". He had enjoyed going to area nursing homes with a local group to entertain the residents with their break dance routines. Following his education, he began working helping to install irrigation equipment at farm sites and was currently employed with A. A. Custom Pivot, KWIQ, Inc.

He is survived by his mother Connie Pope, Moses Lake; father and stepmother Steven and Jannell Pope, Port Angeles; girlfriend with their unborn child Monique Garza, Moses Lake; paternal grandmother Anita Pope, Moses Lake; sister Adrienne Pope, Moses Lake; half sister Staija Pope, Port Angeles and numerous cousins including Jason Pope and Eric Sims of Moses Lake.
