The Nespelem School District No. 14 will be accepting sealed bids/quotes for remodeling/repairs of modular building one, approximately 3,600 sq ft and modular building two, approximately 1,728 sq ft.

Basic Scope of Work

Modular Building One.

? Provide and install handicapped accessible fixtures, toilets, tile flooring, wall repairs for two restrooms and furnish and install paint for the bathrooms. Remove and repair the sub floor.

? Provide and install wiring upgrade for computer lab room.

? Replace/repair steps, porches, railings, ramp.

? Install new walls for office space, including interior office window.

? Provide and install doors and locks for outside doors.

? Provide and install two coats of paint for the interior and exterior of the building.

? Remove and install new carpeting.

Modular Building Two

? Replace/repair steps, porches, railings, ramp.

? Remove and install new carpeting.

? Provide and install doors and locks for outside doors.

? Provide and install two coats of paint for the interior and exterior of the building.

Any additional work requested will be performed by approved written change order, field directive, or phone order.

Quotes/bids will be accepted until June 29th, 2006 and will be opened and awarded on June 30, 2006. The project must begin no later than 7/1/06 and be completed by August 15th, 2006. It is the responsibility of each bidder to insure that their quote/bid is physically received to the Facilities Department, prior to the above date. No responsibility will be taken by the district for delays in the United State Mail, internal-district mail, and misaddressing, misdirected or wrong delivery by any bidder.

Bidders must possess all applicable valid business licenses, insurances & bonding abilities. Bidders are required to file prevailing wage affidavits prior to beginning any work. Bidders are required to file all remaining prevailing wage documentation with WA Dept of L&I prior to project completion. Bidders will assure the Nespelem School District No. 14 that they will comply with all state and federal guidelines, and /or regulations. Therefore, any party wishing to do business with the school district will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or handicap. This is in accordance with Title V of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Section 504 or the Rehabilitation Act, July 26, 1990, 101-336, and the Title IXI RCW 28A, 640 of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended.
