Craig Lamont Schmoll

Craig Lamont Schmoll, 55, of Warden, passed away at home, June 24 with his loving family by his side.

Craig was born in Hazen, N.D. and moved to Billings, Mont. as an infant. Then to Sheridan, Wyo. and on to Lodi, Calif., where he graduated from high school in 1969. He worked construction in the Lodi area until entering the Navy in 1971. He received an Honorable Discharge, then traveled the country on his Harley Davidson.

Craig met Debbie Allmendinger in 1981 and they were married a short time after they met in Lodi, Calif. They owned and operated "Debbie's Answering Service" until moving to Warden in 1993. Craig went to work for Ochoa Foods in 2000 after holding several other positions.

He rode his Harley Davidson as long as he could, enjoyed cooking (gourmet) and loved dogs, especially "Vana." He will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, caring "Teddy Bear," very loving and very much his own person.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie of Warden; brothers: Michael and his wife Joanie Schmoll of Sequim and Scott Schmoll of Lodi, Calif.; a son, Aj and his wife Shylo Wolfinjer of Heber City, Utah; a daughter, Gina and her husband Randy Casjens of Lodi, Calif.; parents, Buster and Vy Schmoll of Hazen, N.D. and Elsie Allmendinger of Lodi, Calif.

A memorial fund account has been arranged for at the U. S. Bank in Warden.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 27 at 1 p.m. at the Warden Assembly of God Church, 416 Oak St. South, Warden.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Chapel, Othello.
