Trudy Lane, wife of artist Manuel Ibarra, above second from right, reaches out and touches her husband's "Gyre," one of 11 artistic pieces that went up around town Saturday as part of the second year of the Sculpture Without Walls program. Right, Brenda Teals, puts her hands to her hips as she reads the plaque naming Rus Geh's "Her Touch." Two more pieces are expected to go up in August. The outdoor exhibit will be on display year-round. An artists reception and exhibit tour started at the Moses Lake Museum and Art Center Saturday evening, with some artists on hand to discuss their work. Exhibit visitors must make their selection and fill out a People's Choice Award Ballot for the 2006 year by May 28, 2007. The winning sculpture will be purchased at the end of the exhibit year by the City of Moses Lake for their permanent collection. All of the sculptures are available to the public. Maps of the exhibit are available. Ballots should be returned to the Moses Lake Museum and Art Center, City Hall or Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Department.
