Earl J. Jones, Jr.

Born 1929 in Fort Scott, Kan., to Earl and Alice Jones, passed away June 5, 2006 in Spokane Valley. Earl is survived by his wife Rebecca of Spokane Valley, daughters Judy Hudson of Castle Rock, Audrey Jensen of Portland, Ore., Cheryl O'Niel of Tacoma and seven stepchildren - ED Engel of Knoxville, Tenn.; Patty Beseler of Spokane, Dorothy Payne of Spokane, Jacqueline Pope, Marti Hughes, Becky Brown and Terry Anderson of Moses Lake. He had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Earl lived in Moses Lake for 27 years before retiring in Spokane in 1999. He worked at U&I Sugar for 21 years followed by Columbia Bean and Produce for 10 years. He served with the U.S. Army in the Panama Canal Zone. While in the Army he played guitar and continued to play until his death. The family requests donations be made to an Alzheimers Association or Hospice.
