Gene Edward Johnston

Gene Edward Johnston, 69, passed away at his home in Moses Lake on Sunday, June 4, 2006. As per personal request, there will be no services.

Gene was born in St. Maries, Idaho on November 22, 1936 where he lived until joining the Air Force where he served for nine years. After leaving the service, he worked a short time in St. Maries at the local sawmill. Gene moved with his wife and children to Moses Lake in 1966 where he worked until retirement for Western Farmers/Cenex. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Gene is survived by daughter Julie Greene, Seattle and son Glen Johnston, Moses Lake, as well as three brothers and two sisters. He is preceded in death by one son, Cliff Johnston, his father, mother and three siblings.
