Minnie H. Wise

Minnie H. Wise, 87, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2006 at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation Center in Moses Lake.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories. Private interment at Pioneer Memorial Gardens will follow the service.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.

Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon.

Minnie was born June 23, 1918 in Irby to the late Gust & Etta (Campbell) Widenmeyer. At the age of 16 she moved to Moses Lake where she was raised and educated. She married Robert Schmauder in the mid 1930s. They made their home in Moses Lake. Robert died in 1946.

On October 7, 1963 she married Oluf D. Wise in Lewiston, Idaho. They made their home in Moses Lake until Oluf passed away in 1990.

She moved to North Bend in 1998 and moved back to Moses Lake in September of 2005.

She enjoyed cross stitch and window gardening.

Survivors include her children, Violet Haugen, John Schmauder, Betty Paasch, George Schmauder, Marie Lewis, and Julie Johnson; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, and husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons, Alford and Robert Schmauder.
