Moses Lake hosts Mrs. Washington state finals Saturday
MOSES LAKE — Seventeen married women from throughout the state will vie for the title of Mrs. Washington this Saturday.
The Mrs. Washington Pageant will begin at 6 p.m. in the Moses Lake High School Theater, and will later be televised on KONG-TV, channels 6 and 16, in August.
"Even the audience will be on television," said Pam Curnel, Washington State director and producer.
The pageant doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $15 for students/senior citizens.
This is the second televised pageant in Washington state. The show will highlight Moses Lake tourist attractions and contestants.
All contestants will arrived in Moses Lake today to film in different locations throughout the town.
The winner will be flown to Ventana Canyon Resort, Tucson, Ariz., to compete for the title of Mrs. America on Sept. 6.
